The ASKO alerts in this index are based on the W3096RW manual, WM76S type. Keep the decimal points and confirm the same match before applying them to another generation.
Choose the route according to the full alert
The manual distinguishes E3 for filling, E7 and E7.1 for draining and E7.2 for excess detergent. The decimal prevents a wrong dosage from being confused with an outlet restriction.
E13 refers to uneven load distribution. For the door, E2 and E22/E22.1 point to locking, and E23/E23.1 and E24 to release. A door that is physically closed does not prove the mechanism has finished locking.
E9/E9.1 corresponds to leak detection; E11 to excessive level. If water keeps entering when the alert appears, turn off the tap and request service.
Other codes in the WM76S table
| Code | Documented scope |
|---|---|
| E0 | Incorrect settings. |
| E1 / E6 | Temperature or heating, respectively. |
| E10 / E10.1 | Water level detection. |
| E12 | Motor or its control. |
| E26 | Door lock. |
| E36 / E37 | Communication or software compatibility between controls. |
| E40 | Prolonged power fluctuations. |
The manufacturer documentation describes the user reset or check that applies to each case and refers you to service if it persists; E37 requires assistance. This table does not recommend replacing components or entering a technical mode.
Remote connection
E48 affects the network and remote control in WM76S. The manual allows other programs to continue being used from the appliance when there is no other fault; do not attribute a disconnection to a general washing failure.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I find my ASKO washer model and type?
In the documented W3096RW, the label inside the door identifies the model, type, and serial number. On another generation, consult its manual to locate it and copy all of that information.
Why does a code change between ASKO generations?
Controls, functions, and detection systems change between platforms. The WM76S table should not be applied to an earlier generation without explicit confirmation from its manual.
Should I record the decimal in the code?
Yes. E7.1 is a reduced drain flow warning and E7.2 deals with excess detergent in WM76S. Leaving out the decimal can lead to the wrong check.
Does a connection problem prevent washing from the panel?
In WM76S, E48 affects remote control and does not by itself prevent other programs from being run on the machine. Confirm the model and that there is no second wash alert before continuing.
Which alerts require stopping the washer?
A visible leak, water entering that does not stop, overflow, or abnormal electrical signs requires you to stop. Persistent internal codes require service; do not repeat cycles to try to force them to clear.
Model and type must match the manual: the ASKO logo alone does not identify the generation.
