E48 on the ASKO WM76S affects network connection and remote control. The manual indicates that other cycles can still be used from the washer if there is no other fault.
Connectivity and washing are separate paths
The manufacturer documentation limits the effect of E48 to the remote function. Check whether the panel lets you start the usual cycles and whether any second alert appears; do not automatically attribute a disconnection to a water circuit fault.
First setup or connection loss
If this is the first pairing, compare the supported network, steps, and function status with the manual. If it used to work, note any changes to the router, network name, phone, or app permissions.
Check the availability of the home network and the signal in the appliance area without changing its security. Do not share passwords with support or disable encryption to get the connection. The exact setup depends on the model and its connected system.
If pairing still fails after reviewing the supported requirements, contact support with the model, the app message, and the time of the disconnection. Do not reset the entire network or the washer indiscriminately.
Keep separate what the phone shows and what the washer indicates; they may point to different stages of the connection.
