ASKO E7.2 Warning: Excess Detergent and Suds

E7.2 on the ASKO WM76S is related to too much detergent and possible suds. Its path is dosing, unlike E7 and E7.1, which relate to draining.

Check how much product reached the drum

The manufacturer documentation identifies excess detergent. Check the product concentration, the amount of laundry, and the level of dirt. Include what was applied for pretreatment and any manual dose added in addition to an active automatic system.

If you switched detergents, compare the recommendations on the new package: the same volume does not equal the same dose. Consult dosing by load and hardness before preparing the next wash.

Observe recovery without adding mixtures

Follow the user procedure in the manual and do not try to remove suds with homemade products. Also do not add detergent to finish a cycle in which there is already too much. Keep track of what happens after correcting the amount, without promising a universal key combination.

If water appears outside or remains trapped inside, record that condition as well and consult the ASKO index to follow the leak or drain path. If E7.2 repeats with the correct dose, request service and explain the products used.

The correction should be evaluated in a wash with known conditions, not only when the decimal disappears from the display.
