ASKO Error E11: Overfill and Overflow

E11 on ASKO WM76S indicates excessive water level or overflow. If water keeps entering despite the warning, turn off the tap and request service.

Protective draining or continuous inlet

The manufacturer documentation explains that the control can interrupt the program and start draining when it detects an overfill. Watch from outside to see whether it is draining water or whether the inlet continues and the level rises.

When water keeps entering, the manual requires shutting off the supply and requesting assistance. Do not keep restarting to check whether E11 disappears, and do not open the door when the water level is high. If there is water near electrical connections, avoid contact and seek help to isolate the appliance.

After the protective response

If draining completes, follow only the recovery procedure allowed by the model manual. If the code returns, service is required; it does not by itself confirm a faulty inlet valve or sensor.

Record the code, the stage, and whether there was continuous inlet. A washing machine that fills too much develops the difference between a supply that does not stop and other observations. E9/E9.1 refers to a leak and should not be confused with this level warning.

The decisive action when the level keeps rising is to stop the accessible supply, not clear the display.
