tcL reminds you that the tub should be cleaned on documented LG models. Run the cycle with no laundry inside and with the product and amount specified for the model.
LG identifies the reminder both on its front panel and in the SideKick documentation. Sharing the notice does not make their drums the same size.
Before starting the cleaning
Remove all laundry. Find the tub clean cycle in the manual and check the approved product, its dosage, and the compartment where it should be added. A cleaner measured for a front loader may be too much for the pedestal; do not combine detergent, bleach, vinegar, or other products.
Select the specific cycle shown on your panel. If the name or controls differ from a support image, follow your own reference instead of automatically substituting the hottest wash.
If tcL appears again
The reminder may stay on or be cleared in different ways depending on the model generation. Check whether the cleaning finished and what the manual says about follow-up alerts. The text staying on its own does not confirm a heating or drain failure.
