In documented LG front-loaders, dE/dE1/E01 and dE2/E30 correspond to two closing conditions: the door is not closed properly, or the door is closed but the lock is not confirmed.

These associations appear in the official front-load help. The mechanical click of the door does not prove that the electronics have received the confirmation needed to start.
Check the door seal area
With the drum stopped and the door released, move any clothing caught between the gasket and the door out of the way. Check whether a garment is pressing from the inside or whether there is visible damage to the latch. Close it normally, without slamming, constant pressure, or bypassing the safety lock.
If there is already water in the tub or the cycle was hot, do not try to open it to repeat that check until the machine allows it. A manual-authorized reset may clear a temporary issue; if the code comes back, that does not prove the door lock is fixed.
