Cd can indicate cooling and post-dry movement in documented LG washer-dryers. The drum may keep moving even after drying has finished.
LG explains that status in its notice table. These post-dry movements help reduce wrinkles when clothes remain in the drum; by themselves, they do not mean there is a motor failure.
Check whether you are at the end of the drying cycle
Note which cycle just finished and whether only Cd appears. If the machine was not drying or shows another alarm, consult the manual before assuming this is that status.
To end the phase and remove laundry, use the action the manual assigns to the control panel. Wait for the motion to stop and the lock to release. Clearing the text from the display does not prove it is safe to pull on the door.
The duration of this function and how to cancel it vary by model; do not use the timing from another generation as a breakdown limit. If the laundry is still excessively damp, assess the drying result separately: Cd does not certify that every item reached the expected dryness.
If the status does not end as described in the manual or another alarm appears, keep the full message and consult the support for the model.
