LE indicates that the drive cannot move the drum properly in the documented LG front-loaders. Overloading and visible blockages are contexts to check, not diagnoses of a component.
The meaning is covered in the LG front-load chart. LE does not mean that the Hall sensor is broken or that the motor needs to be replaced.
What to check without forcing the drum
If the door can be released safely, turn off the unit and remove enough laundry to check whether you exceeded the program capacity. Blankets and other bulky items must be allowed both by their care label and by the manual; fitting inside the drum does not prove they can be washed in that cycle.
With power disconnected, look inside where it is accessible. A loose object can be removed without inserting tools into holes or gaps. If it is trapped between parts, do not pull it out or try to overcome the resistance by turning the drum.
Note whether LE appears at startup, when reversing direction, or when trying to spin. Only perform a power reset if your manual calls for it and there is no damage, unusual smell, or leak. If it returns, the drum not moving needs diagnosis of the drive assembly.
Describe the load and when the failure occurred when requesting service; the code alone does not distinguish between the motor, sensing, and an internal blockage.
