Wrinkles depend on the fiber and the treatment. If they are excessive, check for a compressed load, cycle, spin extraction, and waiting time before adding an additive.
Compare it with what is expected for that fabric
A garment made of linen can show wrinkles without having been washed incorrectly. Distinguish that look from deep creases concentrated where the clothes were packed tightly or tangled. The same temperature does not produce the same finish on a shirt and a stretchy T-shirt.
Check the next load
- Respect the program capacity and avoid pressing the clothes down to close it.
- Choose a cycle compatible with wrinkle-sensitive fabrics and check its actual settings.
- Select the spin speed allowed, without imposing one RPM value on all garments.
- If the model offers an anti-wrinkle setting, check what it changes and the usage restrictions.
- Remove the load when it finishes and straighten the garments according to their care label before drying.
What to do with a load that is already wrinkled
Do not repeat a full wash just because of the appearance if the clothes are clean. Consider the aftercare allowed by its care label. A steam or refresh function may be intended for certain loads, but it does not work for all fabrics or promise to remove every crease.
If there is seam distortion or a change in size, do not treat it as an ordinary wrinkle. Check for damage before applying more moisture or heat.
A clean, wrinkled load needs to be assessed for its allowed finish; it does not automatically require another full wash.
