If water or foam comes out of the drawer, stop the cycle and check the placement, residue, and product used. Water that remains inside after washing is a different situation.
See what is overflowing
Note whether foam or water is predominant and whether it happens at the start, during prewash, or when the fabric softener is taken in. Check whether you changed products, increased the dose, or removed the drawer recently.
The excess foam may go along with an incorrect dose, but it does not by itself explain any leak. If water overflows without foam, the path that connects the dispenser to the tub also matters.
Accessible check
With the appliance unplugged, check that the drawer and its inserts are properly seated. Follow the cleaning of the detergent drawer and siphon allowed by the model; do not insert wires into internal outlets or remove the dispenser from the top.
If it started after installation, note any changes in supply or position. Reducing the faucet by habit can hide the symptom without solving a blockage or incorrect installation. The inlet requirements should be checked against the documentation.
If the overflow continues with the drawer correctly installed
The technician must distinguish a distribution or inlet valve anomaly from a blocked or damaged hose. Do not replace the drawer based on appearance alone without identifying the source.
Do not leave the dispenser open during a test to observe the flow; record the moment of overflow from outside.
