The washer is not filling with water or is filling very slowly

If water is not coming in, start with the supply and the conditions that allow it to fill. A load-detection wait or intermittent filling does not confirm a fault.

External checks in order

  1. Confirm that the cycle received the start command and that the door was recognized. If the panel is still waiting, check why the program is not starting.
  2. Check whether there is water supply available in the home and whether the valves feeding the washer are open. Do not assume that a lack of water affects the entire house.
  3. Inspect the visible section of the hoses: a unit pushed against the wall can pinch off an inlet. Do not pull on connections or move a heavy machine without help.
  4. With two inlets, check both; the mix and the inlets used vary by cycle and model. If there is a leak shutoff device, check what its status indicates and do not bypass it.

When there is supply but the flow is still insufficient

Inlet screens can collect sediment. Their authorized cleaning requires shutting off the water and isolating the unit before disconnecting a fitting. Do not remove sealed parts or insert objects into a valve.

The required pressure is listed in the installation documentation; the fact that another faucet has water does not prove that the washer is receiving the necessary flow and pressure.

If external checks do not explain the failure, it is time to inspect the valve, wiring, and control signal. Solenoid valve diagnosis should separate those possibilities before you choose a replacement part.

Tell service whether no water is coming in at all or whether there is a steady trickle: that difference helps direct the circuit check.
