Calibrating a Samsung washer after installing or moving it

On Samsung models that include calibration, this adjusts the load-detection reference. It must be run with the drum empty and the installation leveled; it does not fix damaged parts or an improper support surface.

Confirm the panel family before pressing

The Samsung Caribbean calibration guide separates these panels. Use a variant only if your model manual confirms that function and sequence:

Documented access by control family
Guide panelEntry to modeActivation
Front load with Temperature and Delay EndTurn off and on; hold both keys for 3 seconds until CbHold Start/Pause
Multi Control with Additional FunctionsTurn off and on; hold that key for 3 seconds; select calibration with the controlConfirm with the indicated O key
Top load with Wash Cycles and Delay EndWith power on, hold both keys for at least 3 secondsHold Start/Pause
Top load with Water Level and Delay EndHold both keys for at least 3 secondsHold Start/Pause

The drum performs calibration movements. Completion may be indicated by 0 or a calibration complete message, depending on the variant. Follow the manual if the controls or indicators do not match.

If it stops or the function does not appear

Check that there are no clothes or objects inside and that the leveling has been resolved. Do not try combinations from other panels. Keep the message and request support if the process does not finish as documented.

The load detection helps cycle control; calibrating it does not repair damaged suspension or sensors. Afterward, follow the corresponding installation test.

Matching button names is not enough: confirm that the model includes that calibration variant before running it.
