The brand and the name of a product line do not identify all the machine's features. The full model, product code, and regional variant make it possible to find the manual that matches the connections and controls.
What each identifier tells you
- Brand: starting point for locating official support.
- Model: product reference, including suffixes that may distinguish variants.
- Product code or revision: helps narrow down components or version when the manufacturer uses it.
- Serial number: identifies the unit and may be needed for support or production changes.
The nameplate may be on an accessible frame on the door or lid, on the side, or on the back. Check the manufacturer's locations without moving a connected machine or removing panels. It is not necessary to publish the serial number on a public page to look for instructions.
Find and compare the document
- Go to the official support site for the appliance's market.
- Enter the full reference or the code requested by the search tool.
- Check the covered models, panel, suffix, language, and document revision.
- Verify that the connections and controls shown match the appliance.
Choose the document type
The user manual covers programs and authorized tasks. The installation manual specifies power supply and installation. The energy label describes test data; the exploded parts diagram helps identify replacement parts. Service documentation does not turn an internal repair into a household task.
If the reference does not appear or the panel is different, contact support before running any sequences. For the first test, the preparation document must match.
Keep the manual together with a written copy of the full reference so you can refer back to it without relying on a visual search.
