4C, 4E, and nF indicate that filling is not happening correctly in the Samsung models covered here. Check the water supply and the inlet setup your model actually uses.
The Samsung USA table groups those codes. Some platforms add a prefix; keep it in the panel photo.
Check the inlet before assuming a fault
Check the washer’s shutoff valve, any supply interruptions, and kinked hoses. On a model with hot and cold inlets, match the connections to the labels; on one designed for a single inlet, do not add a second connection based on a U.S. table.
If the manual allows checking the inlet screens, close the valves and disconnect power before removing the specified fittings. Do not permanently remove safety filters to increase flow.
If water is entering and draining out at the same time, check the drain installation according to the manual. A siphoning issue can prevent the washer from reaching the proper level even when the inlet is not closed. If the external supply and installation are correct and 4C returns, request a diagnosis; the message does not prove a faulty valve.
If the alarm you see is 4C2, keep that last number as well: it points to another query related to inlet temperature.
