PF / 9C1 / 9C2 / UC Error on Samsung Washers: Irregular Power Supply

PF may appear after a power loss; 9C1, 9C2, and UC are part of Samsung’s documented power-supply alerts. If they repeat, check the supply and the appliance’s compatibility.

The Samsung USA table includes those signals and warns about differences between electrical grids in different countries. The model’s nameplate and manual determine the correct power supply; a plug adapter does not guarantee it.

An identified outage or a recurring alarm

If PF matches a known blackout, wait for the grid to stabilize and check how to resume the cycle. Water or laundry may remain un-rinsed, even though the panel turns back on.

If there was no outage, inspect the cord, plug, and direct connection from the outside. Do not measure voltage at terminals or try different extension cords. If there is overheating, damage, or a breaker trip, stop using the appliance and request an electrical or appliance inspection as appropriate.

A reset does not fix an irregular power supply. Repeated occurrences should be documented with the time, phase, and any other visible installation issues.

3E has its own path because it can mean motor on another platform; do not add it automatically to a voltage diagnosis.

If the appliance was moved between countries, give the professional the nameplate details before continuing to test connections.
