F11 on Miele refers to a restricted drain. Check the outlet and prepare for a slow drain before opening the user filter.
Drain hose and discharge height
The manufacturer documentation includes an outlet that is too high, kinks, and a blocked filter among its checks. Compare the height with your model’s manual and see whether the hose was pinched after moving the washer.
Draining without pulling the plug out all at once
- Stop the appliance and disconnect it safely. If it washed at a high temperature, wait for the water to cool.
- Place a container under the indicated access point. Open the filter gradually or use the drain provided by the design.
- Stop the flow by closing it again when you need to empty the container; do not remove the filter completely while water is still coming out.
- After draining, remove any accessible debris and reinstall each filter in its position, securely closed.
See drain filter cleaning if you need help organizing the steps. Do not force a stuck plug or use a front access point on a different design.
If water is still trapped after checking the accessible path, get service help. The code describes a restricted drain and does not by itself confirm a failed pump.
Check the connections and filter seals before the next use to avoid leaks after cleaning.
