F210 Error or Check filter + nozzle on Miele

F210 or Check filter + nozzle on Miele affects the recirculation of soapy water. Check the accessible nozzle on the gasket and the user-serviceable filters.

First, the upper nozzle

The manufacturer's documentation identifies possible lint buildup in the nozzle located at the top of the door gasket. With the appliance stopped and opened normally, remove only the accessible surface lint as instructed in the manual. Do not insert wires or disassemble the duct.

Filters with prior draining

If the manual says to check the filters, safely turn off and unplug the appliance and wait for the water to cool. Place a container underneath and open gradually through the indicated path; do not remove the filter completely while water is still flowing out.

Then remove any accessible debris, put each filter back on its side, and tighten the latch securely. Improper reinstallation can cause a leak. See the filters section of your model's manual to prepare for draining.

F210 is not the same as F11: here the internal circulation of soapy water is checked, although some maintenance points may overlap. If the permitted cleaning does not clear the alert, request service without opening the recirculation circuit.

Report whether you found lint in the nozzle or debris in the filters; they are different observations.
