LC, LC1, LE, 1C, and 1E are grouped as water level or leak signals in Samsung USA support. Your model’s manual should define the code before assigning the alert to a cause.
The official grouping includes moisture detection and sensor issues. That does not mean each of those codes confirms a leak in every Samsung washer.
With visible water outside the system
Stop using the machine and shut off the supply from a safe location. Do not touch wet electrical connections. With the power safely isolated, check the exterior hoses and joints, without tilting the machine to drain water from its base.
Without a visible leak
Check the detergent and amount used, and note whether there was excessive suds. That provides context, but it does not confirm that dosing is the only cause. Internal water may not be visible from the outside, and detection may require diagnosis.
Do not remove trays or bypass sensors to make the alarm disappear. If the manual allows a recovery routine with no active leak, follow that instruction; if the message returns, request service. OC for overfill belongs to a different check and should not replace reading your code.
Report the full code and whether there was moisture, suds, or rising water level; do not summarize all of that as a "water error."
