Hoover E03 Error: the washer does not drain

E03 on the documented Hoover Dynamic Next indicates that water is not being drained. Check the hose, household drain, and accessible filter before requesting service.

Drain to a sink trap or sink

The manufacturer documentation covers connection to the kitchen drain. If the problem started when the washer was installed or moved, compare the setup with the manual and check whether the household drain is clogged or backing up. Look for kinks in the hose without pulling on the connections.

Filter with retained water

Turn it off and disconnect it safely. Wait for the water to cool and prepare a container for user draining. Open it slowly according to the design, without removing a plug completely while water still needs to come out.

After cleaning accessible debris, reinstall the filter and make sure it seals tightly. See drain filter cleaning to prepare for that operation. If access is not provided for in the manual, do not remove panels.

If E03 returns with the path clear, request service. This guide applies to a Dynamic Next washer; on dryers, the same text may refer to the condensate tank and requires different documentation.

Do not force the door open to retrieve laundry before completing safe draining.
