E60 Error in Electrolux Washers: Heating Family

Electrolux’s E60 family, including E61, E62, and E69 mentioned by support, points to heating issues. By itself, it does not confirm a faulty heating element.

Record the program and phase

The manufacturer documentation groups those codes together. Keep the one shown on the panel and the active function: on a washer-dryer, it matters whether it happened while washing or drying. Also note whether the program stops or the warning appears at the end.

A cycle that washes at a reduced temperature by design is not the same as an E60 error. Likewise, a cold glass at the end does not prove the water did not heat up earlier.

From reset to service

Official help allows disconnecting the appliance for about a minute and plugging it back in as an initial reset. Apply the PNC procedure only with dry and safe access, and no abnormal electrical signs.

If the code returns, stop using the appliance and request a diagnosis. Do not run repeated cooler programs to bypass the warning, and do not disassemble heating elements, sensors, or wiring. Power and heating faults help organize related observations without turning them into a confirmed repair.

Give the technician the exact subcode and the result of the one reset you performed.
