Error EH0 or EHO in AEG washing machines: power supply

EH0/EHO on AEG indicates a power supply problem. EH1 refers to frequency, EH2 to high voltage, and EH3 to low voltage in the documented family.

Keep the subcode

The manufacturer documentation distinguishes these warnings. The code indicates a detected condition; by itself, it does not provide a measurement or confirm that the board is damaged.

Check from the outside that the connection is direct and compatible with the appliance installation. Do not use extension cords or adapters to try to avoid the error. Note whether it coincided with an outage, fluctuations from other appliances, or electrical work.

A restart under safe conditions

The support allows you to unplug and wait 30 to 60 seconds before plugging back in and selecting a program, if the outlet is dry and accessible and there are no signs of damage. If you smell burning, the plug is hot, there are sparks, or breakers trip, do not perform this test: request an electrical inspection.

If other equipment also fails, consult an electrician; if the power supply has been verified and EH0 continues, contact washing machine service. Electrical connection and protection devices explains what the installation should check. Do not open outlets or measure the appliance while it is energized.

A lamp turned on in the same outlet does not by itself certify that the supply is suitable for the washing machine.
