EF0/EFO on AEG may be related to foam, a leak, or imbalance. EF3 identifies leak detection in the documentation reviewed: first check whether water is escaping.
Visible water: stop the test
The manufacturer documentation distinguishes several conditions under this family. If there is a leak, turn off the tap and stop using it. Disconnect only when access is dry and safe; do not touch plugs surrounded by water.
Check whether the leak is coming from the detergent drawer, seal, filter, or hose. Look from the outside for clothing caught in the door gasket and connections that were recently touched. Do not tilt the appliance to remove water from the base.
No leak, check foam and distribution
If the drum contains a lot of foam, check the dose, concentration, and additives. Let it reduce according to the procedure in the manual without using home remedies. A drawer with residue may need cleaning through user access.
If imbalance is the main issue, wait for normal opening and redistribute the load within the program capacity. Do not automatically treat EF0 as too much detergent when there is another observation.
If the alert returns, record the PNC and the conditions. The AEG alert index distinguishes the related families; a persistent or inaccessible leak requires service.
If the message disappears, that does not mean it is safe to continue if water is still coming out.
