The temporary connection must be planned for both the washer and the faucet. Not every aerator, pull-out mixer, or sink supports a coupling that remains under supply pressure.
Identify the portable system
It may use a quick connector that integrates inlet and drain, separate hoses, or a tank that avoids connecting to the faucet. The appliance functions and its manual determine the setup; do not copy that of a different portable washer.
Checks before coupling
- Faucet type and connection supported by the adapter and appliance manufacturer.
- Restrictions for pull-out heads or mixer attachments.
- Condition of seals and the mechanism that holds the coupling in place.
- Sink free and able to drain the expected flow without overflowing.
- Stable support and electrical power supply compatible, kept away from spills.
Install the adapter and secure the outlet with the water turned off, following the documented sequence. The drain hose must not be released by the force of draining or remain submerged if the setup forbids it.
During use and when removing
Keep access to the faucet and check the connections from the outside. If leaks appear, stop the cycle using the prescribed procedure and shut off the water safely.
To disconnect, follow the shutoff, depressurization, and coupling removal steps specified in the manual. Do not pull the connector under pressure or submerge the appliance or cord when collecting residual water. The hoses and seals must be stored without deforming them.
Verify compatibility of the faucet, coupling, and drain assembly before considering the connection safely temporary.
