E02 indicates a door lock anomaly in the verified Sharp ES-FW models. It should not be treated as a no-water fault by using a table from another family.

Check the door and load
If the door can be opened and the drum has stopped, remove any items that cross the edge or prevent the door from closing. Check whether the load is pressing on the door from inside and look for latch damage. Close it normally, without slamming or applying extra force to the handle.
The door may be physically jammed without the lock being confirmed. If E02 continues, do not bypass the safety lock or hold the door closed during a start attempt.
If it appears midway through the cycle, allow for the water or heat hold before opening anything. Repetition with the area around the door clear requires inspection. The water inlet warning in this family is E01 and should only be consulted when it matches the display.
Distinguish whether the door fails to close at all or closes but the machine does not recognize it; these are different observations for service.
