E1 error in AQUA washers: no water intake

E1 indicates a lack of supply in the consulted sections of Japanese AQUA washers. Confirm your model number before using that code on an AQUA model from another market.

The association appears in the official AQUA FAQ. The path starts with the water that must reach the washer.

Check supply and inlet

Check the appliance valve and whether there was a supply interruption. Inspect the hose in case it was kinked. If the area experienced freezing, consult your model's procedure; do not force a frozen tube or apply concentrated heat.

Cleaning the inlet mesh depends on the manual. Before disassembling an approved connection, turn off the water and disconnect power. Reassemble the mesh and check for leaks according to the instructions; removing it permanently is not a solution to low flow.

If E1 returns despite a proper external supply, note whether nothing comes in or the fill is weak and request service. The code by itself does not prove a faulty valve or sensor.

Indicate whether you use municipal supply or a different installation; its conditions should be compared with what the manual allows.
