U14 means water cannot be supplied on the documented Panasonic FR1 models. Check external water availability before working on filters or blaming a valve for the fault.
The meaning is verified in the NA-V10FR1/NA-S106FR1 table. It should not be extended to another architecture without consulting its manual.
From the tap to the inlet
Check whether there is a water outage and whether the washer tap is open. Visually follow the hose to look for a pinch after moving the appliance. Do not loosen connections under pressure.
If the manual includes user cleaning of the inlet filter, shut off the water supply and disconnect power before the indicated disassembly. Do not copy minimum pressures, fill times, or dual-inlet requirements from another machine.
A normal initial program wait does not equal U14. If the code appears and returns with water available, note whether water actually entered and request service. The message does not determine whether the inlet, detection, or control has failed.
Keep the reference and explain whether the alert started after an installation or a water outage; the context may narrow down the inspection.
