Midea Washer Error Codes and Alerts

Midea Washer Error Codes and Alerts

The Midea codes in this index are based on the front-load L11 platform. The technical reference lets you verify meanings; user actions should follow the owner’s manual for your model.

A documented platform does not equal the entire brand

The L11 technical manual hosted by Midea France verifies the alerts covered here. A Midea unit from another platform or a device from another brand in the group is not covered just because it shares letters, parts, or appearance.

Distinguish inlet, level, drain, and door

E10 points to filling during the wash cycle. E12 indicates overfill detection and requires addressing a rising water level or a leak before restarting. E21 points to drain time exceeded. E30 corresponds to a door lock failure.

Note the code and the cycle stage before clearing the display. Whether water is present or absent and whether the door is visibly closed help describe the issue, without proving which part has failed.

Use the right manual for each action

The service document contains test modes, measurements, and disassembly steps intended for technical diagnosis. They are not for home maintenance. To remove a filter, disconnect a hose, or restart a cycle, consult the user instructions for your specific model. If you cannot find them, ask support to confirm that before opening access panels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do E10 and E21 mean the same thing?

No. On L11, E10 refers to filling and E21 to draining outside the expected time. Both alarms involve water, but they point to different circuits.

Can Midea codes be applied to manufacturers outside the group?

No, not because of corporate ownership or a similar platform. Each brand and model needs its own documentation to confirm the meaning and the allowed actions.

What can I check without opening the washer?

You can inspect the external hoses, the water supply, visible water, and any obstructions at the door latch. Removing parts requires authorization from the owner’s manual; technical test modes are outside that review.

What information do I need to confirm the platform?

The full model number on the nameplate, its owner’s manual, and, when needed, support confirmation that it matches the platform cited. Code E10 alone does not identify L11.

A match with L11 must be confirmed through the equipment documentation; do not choose a table based on panel similarity.
