Err5 means that a full fill is not being detected in the documented Haier combos. Check the water supply and connections before attributing it to a valve or sensor.
The association comes from the Haier Appliances chart. The fact that another series uses E4 for a similar need does not let you substitute Err5 for E4 in the search.
Check your unit's inlet configuration
See how many inlets the manual requires. Check that the corresponding valves are open and that the hoses have not been pinched. The dual-supply requirements of one family do not carry over to models designed for a single inlet.
If the installation is recent, confirm that the hoses and shutoff devices are compatible. Do not remove a safety device or change connections while water is under pressure to increase flow.
Screen cleaning should follow the user procedure, with the water shut off and power disconnected. If water enters without reaching the expected detection, record the behavior and request service. Do not add water to the drum or test the solenoid valve with the appliance open.
With external conditions checked, a повторition of Err5 needs diagnosis of the fill system on that platform.
